Case #42 shows s/n 44-72483, which had served in Sweden as Fv26087, and Nicaragua as GN 85, before returning to the US as N6160U, with Bill Martin, of Chicago, Illinois. David Forrest bought it, and had it restored in the markings of 361st F.G. 'Yellowjackets' leader, Colonel Tom Christian's 'Lou IV.' This was perhaps the first 'warbird' P-51 to wear something even remotely resembling a wartime paint scheme. In place of the serial (the original Lou IV's was 44-13410), it carried its new registration N13410 on its tail. It then went south again, to El Salvador, as FAS 411, and fought in the 1969 'Soccer War' with neighboring Honduras. It apparently returned again to the US in 1974, and one book I have shows that it was registered N36DD, N38FF and N151DM.

N151DM is registered to Dan Martin of San Jose, CA. The P-51 flies as "Ridge Runner III", Pierce McKennon's WWII fighter.
