J.Scheil:
45-11471: I believe this is N332? which crashed near the salton sea. I cant be sure
was once the maytag mustang and became stilletto, then a TF-51!
William D. Yoak:
Please see information provided in the solution of Case #52 for complete
details on this aircraft. It was N332 owned by David Maytag and then by Dave
Zeuschel.
T.J. Johansen:
Case #108 I have a strong feeling this is the late Dave Zeuschel´s N332
45-11471 which crashed on a flight from Yuma, AZ to Oxnard, CA killing owner
James Barkley on Aug. 21, 1979. According to the accident brief the crash might
have been caused by flutter in the rudder surfaces and the plane disintegrated
in mid-air! The i.d. was then used to make "Stiletto" and is now a TF-51 with
Bob Jepson.
Case Closed!
