Dave Lindauer:
I'm not 100% certain about this one, but I think it is 44-14377, which came
out of storage at Walnut Ridge, AR in 1946 to be raced by Joe DeBona in
1947-1948 as NX33699, Race #90, "Magic Town." Modifications included a
Merlin 66, wet wing and partially painted sliding canopy. It is reported to
have been sold to the Dominican Air Force as FAD 1702 in 1948, crashed at
Santiago on 2-4-50 and subsequently broken up for spares.
Excellent! Dave
