| Gary Levitz's Precious Metal at Reno '75 in the 'middle' of the modification program. Gary crossed the line in third place that year, but was disqualified for crossing the deadline. The reason for this was because only a week prior to leaving for Reno, he had been wrestling with his pet St. Bernard, and gotten bit on the ankle. The bite almost severed the tendon, and Gary was having a bitch of a time with the rudder pedals on the course...so he flew a wide course. |
