This is CAC CA-18 Mk 23 (photo reconnaisance version)built as c/n 1517 and A68-192 with the RAAF. Put on the Australian civil register as VH-FCB it had various colour schemes, the one shown being from early 1963 to early 1964. Was a big and popular airshow performer in its subsequent 'Castrol' colours. Sold and exported to the Phillipines it became PI-C-651 and was damaged there. Rebuilt in Hong Kong it became VR-HIU (painted in camouflage as ‘CV.H’) before going to the UK as G-HAEC (and at various times was ‘CV.H’, ‘44-72917/AJ-A’, ‘A68-192’, ‘44-72218/WZ-I’). Still has the camera access doors in the starbouard fuselage...
