2006: N51TK, John McKittrick - The aircraft will be based in So. California.
2007: July 15 - After receiving many hours of dual instruction from Matt Jackson, McKittrick was ready for his P-51 solo at Camarillo, Ca. During the landing, a bounce and/or balloon were encountered, then a go-around was performed. The aircraft torque rolled and crashed inverted off the left side of the runway. John McKittrick did not survive. He was very passionate about warbirds and was an experienced pilot. Condolences to his family and friends.
