1962: Apr 12, crashed, Departure from Moorabbin Australia headed to Bankstown. Ron Flockhart was the pilot, who flew into IFR conditions and did not come out. Flockhart killed. This P-51 was preparing to attempt a speed record from Australia to the UK.
